Well, well... Alexander McQueen never fails to surprise us
when it comes to his shows at Fashion Week.

For the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, his theme was Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species. McQueen brings us 12" heels that look more like hooves than shoes and just looking at the pictures of the models wearing them make my feet hurt!

The designs do, however, look stunning - a work of art!
But, would you be seen wearing these? Yes or No?

Luella spring/summer 2010

Luella Spring/Summer 2010 collection ready to wear, makes me want to be 7 again – that perfect age when all I ever wanted to be was a pretty girl in a pretty dress. Now I am a grown-up (well at least pretending) and Luella has designed this collection seemingly with girls who want to feel pretty in mind. It’s a real girly girl collection. The cute separates are something that I hope will be copied on the high street – so easy to wear and more of that “grown-up” pretty girl chic. Gorgeous !!

DKNY Spring/Summer 2010

It was all about the boyfriend jacket and neon bike shorts at DKNY. Karan & co. righted things with an incredibly chic black jumpsuit topped by a stone tuxedo jacket, and a passage of floral-on-black looks (short suits, sequined tees, cotton sweaters and rompers) managed to be both sweet and sophisticated.

I do really love the abstract painted dresses though

Hama Beads

Hi all, how are you guys? yesterday i bought some Hama beads, if you're not familiar with them, the Hama bead system consists of tiny plastic coloured tubes that you place onto different shaped pegboards to make interesting designs and patterns. Best of all, once you've finished you can run an iron over the top of the beads and they fuse together, creating a permanent memento. Now I can make necklace from beads by myself, makes me wanna buy more Hama beads ^.^

anyway this week is going to be pretty hectic for me coz it's exam week,
so wish me luck guys :D

Tim Burton's Tricks and Treats

I'm a big fan of Tim Burton's movies. So when i saw the new Harper's Bazaar, i was so ecstatic. To celebrate the long life time career of Tim Burton, photographer Tim Walker is reinventing the dark whimsical charm of Tim Burton in this fashion editorial of the October Issue for America's Harper's Bazaar "Magical Fashion". Tim walker and Tim Burton complement each other perfectly. Can you imagine Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory And Sweeney Todd in one beautiful fashion spread? Well, you don't have to, it's all here.

Luella is one of my favorite designer. I really like how she mixes prints together. She knows what girls want and she does it right. She really makes me want to dress like a lady. Bright floral pattern and ruffles, bright orange and hot pink, the whole collections are preppy looks that just makes Luella so cool.

I stole Minnie Mouse bow headband's, hahaa.. coz this season bows look very chic to any outfit. From Chanel, Moschino and Marc Jacobs were just some of the many shows which featured bows in their S/S collections. TopShop and Miss Selfridges have large collections of bow embellished accessories with bows on bags, belts, earrings and rings. A bow headband looks great with the hair down and pulled back hairstyles; very preppy chic.
